The plateau in front of the Arad County Council was animated today with hundreds of people.

The County Council organizes the Aradean Tourism Day, 3rd edition. The event takes place on the plateau in front of the County Council, with the participation of town halls in the county (Ghioroc, Pecica, Sărășin, Petriş, Zabrani, Şiria), the Arad County Museum Complex, the County Cultural Center. Exhibitions are organized for sale, popular craftsmen are present who carry out live workshops.

The event opened with a parade of the popular port of Aradean. Later, dozens of children attended a puppet theatre show, and from noon the music recitals begin.

"Today we are also launching the six day tourism circuits in Arad County. I thank the mayors who came with us today and are present at Tourism Day, to highlight together some of the beautiful objectives of the county. I am particularly pleased that we are able to do what we set out to do, namely to include the plateau in front of the County Council in a circuit of beautiful events that vitalizes Arad. We will continue with "Product in Arad", which we intend to organize during July",said the President of the County Council, Justin Cionca.

For his part, the Vice-President of the County Council, Ionel Bulbuc, appreciated the participation of the Museum Complex and the County Cultural Centre in the Day of Tourism, because there are two important institutions in the project to highlight the cultural and historical heritage of Arad.

Răzvan Cadar, Vice-President of the County Council, said that an important part of the institution's mission is the promotion of the material and intangible heritage of The Aradean, and for this new events are also being prepared on the County Council plateau.

Although preceded by a red storm code, Aradean Tourism Day managed to attract many interested People. It was still felt the restraint after the pandemic, although exhibitors and traders outdid themselves to present themselves as attractively as possible.

Ghioroc Town Hall has arranged a beach corner with 12 palm trees and sun loungers, Şiria Town Hall has come with traditional ii, Zabrani Town Hall has presented to the aradens fabrics and folk costumes, the pecica town hall promoted the Digital Museum and the bread of Pecica, the town hall of Sărășin has built its presentation around the most important tourist attraction in the west of the country – the royal castle of Sărășin , Petriş Town Hall and the Zarand Association brought traditional local products.

In organizing the event, the National Tourist Information and Promotion Centre, within the Arad County Council, played an important role.

The opening of the Aradean Tourism Day was also attended by MEP Gheorghe Falcă, MP Sergiu Bîlcea, Deputy Mayor of Arad, Lazar Faur, County Councillor Garofița Popa.
